Classical systems engineering (SE) virtues combined with international
ISO/IEC standards and reverse engineering on successful methods makes
up the Systems Engineering Concept (SEC).
“SEC has become the natural way of how we work in daily life across all disciplines and it has created a common language in our team. Re-design and interface issues are reduced to almost nothing and we continuously improve our performance”
Tommy Flindt, Director – Head of Engineering & Technology.
Wind, Oil and Gas, Semco Maritime A/S

Technical
Traditional SE disciplines like system architecture, requirements, system integration and system documentation goes hand in hand with stakeholder involvement, verification/validation and agile development in SEC.
We know from experience, that most engineers are very good at what they do, but the way they work together across disciplines and various silos creates misunderstandings and very often requires rework and wastes precious time.
SEC is designed to boosts performance of engineering by a common language and understanding of systems and their status. The SEC approach is very pragmatic, but also very systematic and includes special points of synchronization among disciplines and silos. In SEC, the pragmatic blend along with a systematic approach has turned out to get the best out of most designers and engineers!

Management
SEC for Management supports existing project management disciplines like PMI® ISO 21500:2012 or PRINCE2® or simply just adds a solid base for executing project designs. SEC adds practical and useful daily KPI’s to monitor and handle any project in a transparent way.
The management part of SEC is based on practical experience with complicated and complex design, gathered over 20 years, and from a range of very different project profiles.
The management benefit of SEC is a clear overview of even the most complicated and complex systems and the project performance in the design phase.
Extracting important KPI’s from SEC can be used for easy reporting on status to the stakeholders of a project.
We have proof of concept that SEC enables error-free designs and constructions and quickly ramps up the organizational performance.
